Academic Advisory body Academic Advisory body is constituted with all professors and associate professors of the institute
Board Meetings Board meetings are planned to be held once in a year and Academic advisory body meets frequently, atleast once in six months.
Nature and extent of involvement of faculty and students in academic affairs / improvements In academic affairs, senior faculty is consulted and decisions are taken after considering their views. Faculty is encouraged to innovate and experiment in teaching methodaology and in the design of experiments for laboratory classes.
Mechanism / Norms & Procedure for democratic / Good governance On all matters pertaining to planning and development, views of senior professors of the university and higher technological institutes are taken and discussed in detail in the academic advisory body of the institution, before implementaion.
Student feedback on Institutional Governance / Faculty performance At the end of semester / Year feedback from the students on teaching is collected and is furnished to concerned teacher so as to enable him / her to know his / her weaknesses and strengths and help him / her to inmprove.
Nature and extent of involvement of faculty and students in academic affairs / improvements Students, if they have any grievances, are expected to report to their heads of departments. Heads of departments in turn will inform to the principal. Principal will convene a meeting with staff council depending on the seriousness of the grieveance and based on the views and sugestions of the staff, number of solutions are arrived at. After that Principal along with heads of departments will convene a meeting with representatives of students and an amicable solution is arrived at. Same type of procedure is followed to redress the grievance of staff.
